The governing body for craft beer is The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau and they are closed because of the government shutdown. This group regulates the development and licensing of new beers. If your favorite brewery didn't already get their labels or licenses for new beers, they will have to wait until the government shutdown is over.

    When "Camp Fire" devastation neared the California Hills, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. responded the only way the knew how. They created Resilience IPA with 100% of proceeds dontated to the cause and offered the recipe to any brewery that would join relief efforts. The highest estimatation was that 500 breweries would partake, but so far 1,500 breweries have joined together to produce a $10-15 million relief fund. Who said beer can't save the world? Cheers to the breweries who stood up!!!

    In collaboration with Christian Moerlein Brewing, CVG is not only getting a craft beer for Christmas, but a taproom as well. JET CVG is a black, German-style schwarzbier. It will be unveiled this Saturday. According to the CEO of Moerlien, this craft beer "was made to marry the love of beer and travel, and inspire locals to jet off to their next adventure,".  The beer will likely be a staple at The Malt House currently under construction at CVG. You don't even have to leave the airport to get a hoppy dose of Cincinnati.
